Conditions of Use
- The main hall, kitchen, toilets and
entrance hall are to be swept or mopped and left tidy
after use. Cleaning equipment may be found in the
cleaning cupboard in the entrance hall.
- All rubbish must be taken away - paper
(NO food/drink) may be left in the bin
in the office (through the double doors by the kitchen.
- All kitchen work surfaces, tables,
sinks and the cooker must be wiped clean. Cleaning
materials may be found under the kitchen sink.
- Chairs must be left clean and stacked
at the sides of the main hall.
- All lights and heating (switch above
main hall light switches) must be switched off after use.
- All windows and exits must be left
locked after use.
- Decorations and drawing pins must be
removed after use. To prevent damage to children's work,
decorations must not be applied to notice boards.
- Do not pin/tape notices to doors or
paintwork, there are sufficient notice boards in the HQ.
Please remove your temporary notices.
- The telephone in the kitchen is for
emergency calls only.
- Bookings for use of the hall must be
made through Rita for all non-unit night bookings.
If users fail to comply with the above
conditions, or the HQ is left dirty, requiring the cleaner to
carry out any of the above duties, a charge of £7.00 per hour or
part thereof will be levied for rectification. The cost involved
will be deducted from the deposit. Similarly, damage to any
tables, equipment, fixture and fittings will be charged to the
hirer for the cost of any replacement or repair required.
Subject to prior arrangement, Saturday
evening users may clean on a Sunday morning.
First Aid
A first aid kit is located in the kitchen.
Please note down details of any accidents and items of first aid
equipment used (even plasters), this helps us to keep the first
aid kit stocked.
Notes
Please note that any equipment brought into
the HQ by the user remains the property and responsibility of the
user.
